Acceptance doesn’t mean everything is acceptable.
It means recognising the person behind the problem.
Unconditional Acceptance exists to help create a culture where we can recognise mistakes, encourage change and maintain healthy boundaries without withdrawing a person’s dignity or sense of worth.
We believe people should be able to ask for help without first hiding the parts of their lives they fear others will judge.
A more human way of responding to each other.
Acceptance can exist alongside responsibility, boundaries and change. What it should never require is stripping somebody of their basic sense of worth.
Support without judgement
Helping people through difficult periods with compassion, dignity and practical support.
Connection without conditions
Helping families and friends remain connected while communicating clearly and establishing healthy boundaries.
Understanding before judgement
Challenging stigma and encouraging people to become curious about somebody’s story before defining them by it.
Acceptance of ourselves
Helping people recognise mistakes, weaknesses and difficult chapters without allowing them to define their entire worth.
Belonging across differences
Creating spaces where people from different backgrounds, circumstances and experiences can belong without fitting a particular mould.
A different culture
Listening before judging, disagreeing without devaluing and setting boundaries without rejecting.
Support that meets people where they are.
Different situations need different kinds of support. Our initiatives create places to talk, find practical help, access guidance and simply be around people who understand.
Between Us
Between Us is a confidential listening and support line for anyone who needs somewhere to speak openly.
It is for people facing addiction, emotional or mental health difficulties, identity challenges, relationship problems, loneliness, shame or another difficult period — as well as the people around them.
Trained listeners offer a calm space, practical information and, where appropriate, help finding professional or specialist support.
Talk to Between UsUninterrupted
Uninterrupted is a one-day countryside convention bringing support, information and human connection together in one place.
Hear honest stories, speak privately to professionals, join discussions, ask questions, take a walk or simply spend time around people who understand.
Professionals and people with lived experience are equally central to the day.
Discover UninterruptedCrisis Kit
Crisis Kit provides up to four weeks of practical help when a crisis has made ordinary life difficult to manage.
Rather than giving everyone the same package, we start with one question:
What is causing the most immediate pressure right now?
That may mean meals, supermarket vouchers, children’s clothing, an essential appliance, transport or another immediate need.
Find Out About Crisis KitYou can ask for help without hiding first.
Addiction, emotional difficulty, identity questions, loneliness, mistakes or painful circumstances can make people feel that they have to hide part of themselves before they can belong.
We want people to be able to seek support while still being treated as a whole human being.
The person beside them may need support too.
A crisis rarely affects one person alone. Parents, spouses, siblings, children and friends can also feel frightened, confused or overwhelmed.
We help people understand what their loved one may be experiencing, communicate more effectively, establish healthy boundaries and remain connected without carrying everything alone.
Difference doesn’t have to mean division.
Background, income, identity, disability, family circumstances, personal history, lifestyle or mistakes can quickly become labels — and labels can become reasons to exclude.
A society where nobody has to earn the right to be treated with dignity.
